Book Review Dump

Wow, I feel like I was holding my breath waiting for the contest to end so I could post all my reviews! So I'm apologizing for the dump, but I just couldn't hold my breath any longer. I read some great books over the course of the contest. Now, I am really needing to start writing again! lol. My editor will have Curse of the Beast book 1 for a while yet and so I am off to write a few more scenes in Book 2!

You might even wonder how many books will be in this series. I really don't know. It keeps surprising me. At first it was only suppose to be 1 book and no more. But the story didn't like that and grow into 2 books, and I am now getting scenes in my head for book 3. So this is going to be a fun ride:-)

My Thoughts:

Wow! This book hooked me from the first page and didn’t let go (even after the thing ended *tears*). I am dying for the next book! The last sentence of this book was a huge “What!” I have to have the question answered. I love Death and his guitar playing. I really enjoyed the emotional depth to this book. I have read three of Abbi Glines’ books, and I have enjoyed every one. This book was so cool!

Note: 15+, there was swearing. Five stars.

My Thoughts:

I am not an apocalypse kind of gal, but my friend lent it to me and I gave it a try. I was surprise how much the love story really shone. It wrapped me up and I couldn’t get enough of the Raffe and Penryn. This story was very end of the world hard and Hunger Games sad.  Plus, it was downright creep at times, but Susan Ee wrote a captivating storyline with much emotions. I really want to know what happens in the next book!

Note: 17+ there are some really gross stuff. Four Stars.

Even though Sadie isn't impressed by Jax's fame, he is drawn to her. Everything about Sadie fascinates Jax but he fights his attraction. Relationship's never work in his world and as badly as he wants Sadie, he believes she deserves more. By the end of the summer, Jax discovers he can't breathe without Sadie.

My Thoughts:

I devoured this book in one day. Sadie is a loveable character. I liked both Jax and Marcus. I felt bad for Sadie and was happy at the end for her. It was a sweet romance and was a clean one too.

Note: PG-13 clean romance. Five stars.
